Reuven Fields
I was born in Israel in 1961. I finished with excellence Vitzo Canada College for Art & design, Haifa, Israel, in the department of metal design. After college I got into stage sets and props design and did some big projects in that field including designing and producing props for the opening ceremony of the 15th Macabia games (the Jewish Olympic Games that take place every 4 years in Israel).

The stage

Building a stage in Isreal I started my own performance art group that was based on installations and kinetic iron sculptures that I designed and built. We performed in big outdoor festivals between 1999 and 2002 (for more info about my theatre, log on to www.pahtheatre.com)

In 2002 due to the unstable situation in the Middle East that didn’t promote the arts I moved to the U.S., settled in the Chapel Hill area in 2003, and established my studio here.

Reuven Fields Currently I have my own collection of outdoor and indoor sculptures, artistic decorative designs, functional things such as furniture, lighting, fences, gates, trellises, and anything I can make out of metal, which is almost anything.

I specialize in custom made elements to fit your specific needs and can always find a creative way to make them for the price you can afford. No project is too big or too small for me.

The pictures in my website gallery are only a small representation of my work. To get a better impression of my work, you are welcome to visit me any time at my studio.

I am located at 1301 Broadwell Rd. in Chapel Hill (map), and am open every day (almost) between 10 am and 6 pm. Please call ahead if possible, 919-360-5766.
