Kinetic Sculpture and Water Features by Reuven Fields

Composition of movement and sound has always been a primary interest for me as an artist. you are welcome to see my performance art work with Pah Theatre @ www.pah-theatre.com. since coming to the united States and establishing my studio in Chapel Hill NC in 2004, I have developed my stile in yard art while looking for opportunities to combine this sculpture with my expertise and concepts I developed for incorporating movement and sound to a complete self sustained compositions. The "Cycles of Life" installation is the first " grand result of this efforts....

Reuven Fields, An Artist residing in Chapel Hill has received the Ella Fountain Pratt Emerging Artist Grant from Durham Arts Council in 2008 to complete the “Cycles of Life” installation - A musical Fountain and an artistic interpretation of the harmony in nature. The sculpture was accepted for the NC Botanical Gardens in Chapel Hill, for the annual Sculpture in the Garden Art Show and will be on display there until November 15 2009.

“My art is very natural and one of my goals is to have it seem a part of where it is installed, not a human implant. I want it to show the harmony in nature, and to have a dialogue between nature and our Industrial, Hi tech civilization. The cycles of life are mechanically sophisticated, and yet natural and harmonious
